Monkeys!

Good morning readers!

I hope your weekend was nothing short of a drunken orgy. I went to the library over the weekend since bookstores are closing left and right. Is that because people are too stupid to read now? Anyway, I was on the train and I swear I saw a little kid who resembled a monkey. I’m not being mean, baby monkeys are cute. He had big ears and little round eyes, and if you’ve ever seen someone who looks like the human version of an animal, then you know what I mean. Besides, I had monkey-ish tendencies when I was little.

If you study this picture of me, you can almost see my mouth perfectly perched as I wait for someone to stick a banana in it.

Someone give this a monkey a banana!

Seeing that kid on the train reminded me of that Flip Wilson Joke, so I decided to post it so you can start your Monday with a laugh. If you’ve never seen this routine, I think you’ll like it and if you have already seen it, you’ll enjoy it again.

Hope you laughed!

Before you know it, Monday will be over. Have a great day!

PS. That’s Dad and me down the Jersey Shore….where’s Snookie?

About Death To Hollywood

My name is Celeste Donohue and I am a writer/comedian who started this blog to tell stories about my life growing up in a funeral home and my adult life which I have spent in Hollywood, California – hence the name, “Death To Hollywood”. Hopefully, you like to read those kinds of stories. If not, go read something serious and boring.....

OMG, what is it about kids looking like monkeys!
I was sitting in a group of moms one time and one of them was telling us how her baby looked like a monkey, especially when he was first born. He had weird red hair everywhere, even sticking out of his ears.

We didn’t know what to say since the kid was standing right there. He was about five I guess.

When she noticed how uncomfortable we were she says, “What’s the matter? He’s got eyes. We’ve got mirrors. He can see it for himself, am I supposed to lie?”

We couldn’t take it. “Yes! Yes! You are SUPPOSED TO LIE!!!!!

    GREAT POST AGAIN, CEE!
