A Sweet Update…

Hi readers!

Exciting news! You will be able to purchase the candy by the end of the week. The labels finally came. I also spent a nice chunk of time last night figuring out how to hook up a wireless printer. Why? So I can print my own mailing labels and not have to wait in line at the god forsaken post office. I hope you’re applauding right now because that is an accomplishment beyond making any kind of candy. You see, I have been forced repeatedly to handle my own technology “issues” because I don’t have the kind of money to pay for someone else to do it, but believe me, if I did, I would pay whatever it took to not have to do it myself. In fact, I would pay someone to do everything for me except eat and sleep. It’s not that getting the printer to work was all that difficult, I just don’t like doing things like that because it means I have to follow directions and read and re-read the directions to make sure I’m doing everything right. It’s also a fax machine and a scanner, but I didn’t read those parts in the manual because that would have meant more directions, and by the way, who even faxes anymore? I’ll tell you who. Third world people, that’s who.

Would you like to see the labels?

Doesn’t it kind of look like the skull is smiling? Why is that? Because it just ate some candy….

I brought some more into work the other day and one of the women I work with ate the whole bag and said, “I can’t believe I ate it all, but it’s so good.” Two friends told me within the last few days that they have been craving it. Now, I’m not trying to oversell it, but it’s hard for me to resist and I make it. In fact, last week I was a little hormonally imbalanced and that’s a dangerous thing with a freezer full of candy. I may have eaten into the profits :D.

Anyway, I will post the page where you can buy it very soon, probably by Friday!  Once again,  I have some Canadian bacon that needs my attention, so I have to go now.

Have a sweet day! 😛

About Death To Hollywood

My name is Celeste Donohue and I am a writer/comedian who started this blog to tell stories about my life growing up in a funeral home and my adult life which I have spent in Hollywood, California – hence the name, “Death To Hollywood”. Hopefully, you like to read those kinds of stories. If not, go read something serious and boring.....

It sounds like you need a way to put Canadian Bacon in candy!

Last verdict in last night. Miss. J got two pieces that we left for her. It was really, really hard but we resisted eating it all.

    Naturally, SHE LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!

I think you will have no problem quitting your day job once you get rolling. 🙂
